I first built a career in marketing and operations beginning in small business, eventually making my way into the boardrooms and corner offices of the corporate world. Working in small business taught me to take a global perspective and understand that achieving big-picture business wins—no matter how lofty—always requires an intimate understanding of how all the tiny cogs and springs of an organization fit together and (hopefully) work. I took those holistic business lessons to work with me in the corporate world where I made sure that the little things contributed to overarching, key business strategies.
