I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. From the time my dad handed me a Kodak Pony 135 at the 1965 New York World’s Fair, I’ve had a love for capturing the moment. As I grew older, I’ve always had a camera of one sort or the other, snapping pictures here and there of friends, families, landmarks, events and anything else I found interesting. Most of my adult career has been in graphic design, working in the newspaper business. Newspapers I’ve worked for, include the Dothan [Alabama] Eagle, the Huntsville [Alabama] Times, the Colorado Springs Gazette and the Denver Post. It’s been a rewarding career collaborating with photographers and editorial folk, creating all kinds of story-telling presentations. Today, I find myself semi-retired, living at my childhood vacation home on beautiful Lake Eufaula, Alabama. I spend most mornings shooting sunrise pictures and sharing them and my daily thoughts on my Facebook page. I’ve a keen eye for composition and color, which I count as a special gift from the Creator. I put them to work in visual story-telling through my photography and design. I’d love to help you capture images of your special friends, family and events. I'm available to photograph weddings, portraits, pets, babies, real estate and most anything else.
